sorry, couldn't resist the pun there! anyways, i was just wondering if anyones found any synthetic yarns that don't look so, well, synthetic, so we can make some wool-free tassels. all the acrylic yarns are so bright and plasticky lookin. there must be something more fuzzy and 'natural' looking out there. bamboo and cotton yarns are pretty, but they don't seem to have the same fluff and bounce of wool tassles, either.

any leads on good fake-wool yarns?
